The D-803-Y damping rubber sheet is a constrained damping material. In the case where the composite structure is a substrate: damping plate: constraint plate = 1:1:1, the structural loss factor at 30 to 900 Hz is more than 0.4. In a certain engineering application, compared with the steel structure model, the structural damping energy of the constrained damping structure model is reduced by nearly 10 dB in the air, which effectively restrains the vibration of the substrate and reduces the radiation noise.
